God Does Not Make Mistakes

This video was taken from Kim Symythe’s YouTube Channel.  As per Kim, she does not know the original author of the video and just find appreciation sharing it publicly. The video featured a little boy was diagnosed with Down syndrome, one can notice it from his features.  One might even react about why one allows a big dog beside the boy and play around. The risk was obviously there. But there must be a meaning behind why this video happened. Anybody who would watch the video will sense some deep moving emotion about what it means and why it happened. And even though the boy cannot comprehend much about the dog’s ways of endearment. As much as the dog cannot also understand the language the boy also conveys. There is but a greater and absolute power that made the two understand each other in the manner most of us are capable with – AFFECTION.  The video captions itself speaks bigger than everything:

Life is a struggle, accept it.

Some consider it a gift.

God doesn’t make mistakes.

Our life may all be struggles we cannot instantly comprehend. Many times we were against it and made us question the Divine Being with so many ‘Whys.’ Yet all we need to do is conform to it. And although some appreciates and consider it a gift. But many are not really sure on how to live about it. As we go along our lives and attain a certain level of wisdom, we started feeling we are BETTER & BEST without having to ACCEPT that we are just a speck and dust in an IMMENSE creation of the MASTER OF LIFE.

We thought we are INVINCIBLE and cannot be outdone by any great powers.

We thought we are SUPERIOR and nobody can destroy nor annihilate us because of our newfound powers.

We thought we are UNBEATABLE and nobody can surpass the achievements we acquired.

We thought we are VICIOUS enough to outwit everything that comes our way.

We may think what we like to think about ourselves.  We may think what we like to do about ourselves.

We can even think what we think our lives will be in the future.

But before we do, think or make something about ourselves and for others, do remember that ALL happens for a reason according to the blueprint of the MASTER OF LIFE.

Each us has roles to play. We may not like what we have or have not.

We may have the wisdom to tell what is and what is not.

But there is still a GRAND PLAN for everything and anything.

Where we all fit and built to match accordingly. Simply because…

God does not make mistakes.

We are all part of each other lives.

God does not make mistakes.

We are all His beautiful masterpiece! Unique. Integral. Connected.

If one goes astray, we will not function well.

God does not make mistakes.

You just need to ACCEPT IT.

Death is not a thing for Two People in Great Love

June – The merry month for weddings and vows. A time where couples and two people in love will think of tying the knot in marriage and togetherness. But togetherness sometimes does not mean both of you will live merry and happy through your union and on through your life with each other. Rowden and Leizl plan to have their wedding vow and marry each other on July 8, 2014 during what will supposed to be Rowden’s 30th birthday celebration.  But last May, Rowden was diagnosed with stage IV liver cancer that clouded their plan to get married.  Knowing he will not live longer to fulfil his promise to his girlfriend Leizl, Rowden requested his brother Hasset and wished to be married to Leizl before he died.  A wish his brother and his family as well as Leizl’s agrees to arrange. And on June 11 Rowden’s wished was granted and happened in his hospital bed at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) where he was confined. A picture of what seems to be an ideal union. Leizl marched along the hospital aisle in immaculate white wedding gown holding a bouquet of roses in one hand and her other hand clutching the hand of their flower girl two-year old daughter, Zakiah walked towards the makeshift altar for the wedding. Rowden on his part, since he cannot walk anymore has to be rolled over to the makeshift wedding altar by his immediate family.  The newlywed couple with their two year old daughter was a picture of what supposed to be a perfect family. The entire ceremony was so moving that all those who came to witness and watch the union are in deep sympathy for the couple/family were crying. Hasset, Rowden’s younger brother uploaded and posted the event on his Facebook page and immediately garnered more than 180,000 followers and likes. Hasset who works as a Chef in a fine dining restaurant also took time in thanking and expressed his appreciation to the hospital staff and medical personnel in attending to Rowden’s last wish. Unfortunately, Rowden, 10 hours after the wedding passed away due to the illness. But besides fulfilling his promise to his Leizl, Rowden definitely has moved a lot of people by his acts and courageously fulfilling his eternal love to Leizl despite his disease and death.

Mercy Triumphed Over Justice

balal-execution

In a predominantly Muslim place like Iran, execution by hanging was an option for justice. But a mother’s heart proved that mercy is a way to justice for a son who died from the hand of a man whom the sharia law of retribution found guilty for the crime.

What Balal thought was his last gasp of breath was miraculously deferred.  He instead felt a big slap in his face coming from the merciful hand of his victim’s mother.  The victim’s family did not approve on the timing of the date.  It was the day before the Persian New Year Nowruz. Three days prior to the execution day, Hosseinzadeh Sr., the victim’s father told that his wife had a dream of their elder son Abdollah telling he was in a good place and told her not to retaliate. The dream made his wife to further think until the day of execution. The moment of grace and divine intervention.  Six years ago, Abdollah was 18 years old then and was strolling with friends in a bazaar when the then 20 year old Balal shoved him. The startled Abdollah kicked him but Balal instead took an ordinary knife out from his socks which he struck to Abdollah causing his death.  Though Balal escaped from the scene of the crime, he was later arrested by the police and took the court six years to hand down the verdict of death to penalize Balal for his wrongdoing.  Hosseinzadeh Sr however found out that Balal was an inexperienced killer and could not even handle a knife. “He was naïve,” Hosseinzadeh Sr said.

God has many ways and faces to perform His graces and mercy.  It is through this kinds of ‘divine intervention’ that he perform extraordinary miracles to people of different creed, belief and religion.  In some part of the world, not necessarily in the Islamic region, the period of Lent was being observed.  And if this is one way God, Allah or whatever name we call Him to remember His merciful heart, there must be really some divine intervention why He has chosen this moment to let MERCY TRIUMPHED OVER JUSTICE.

When White Lies Becomes True Lies

WHITE-LIES-1

White Lies.  More often we brush them off our shoulders and let it pass more likely a benefit than an excuse.  Moreso these white lies becomes a habit and most likely becomes true lies.  Does it sound like an Arnold SwarzeneggerJamie Lee Curtis movie? Just having it light a bit guys. But seriously now, white lies really to many have become a habit and a justification for a thing we said falsely and out of our own wrongdoings.  Lying are our worst enemies and white lies are our ‘little devils.’

When we were still small children, our parents instill in our thoughts that lying is a no, no… and that we we’re basically be punished whenever we tell one.  Our elders knew when we are lying and when we are telling the truth simply because our lies often reveal our wrongdoing.  We were amateur liars when we were still children thus we were easily caught by our elders based on our mannerisms and simply by just looking into our eyes.  Our eyes are like mirrors of our persona.  But as we grow older we’ve come to master the art of our own lying. Unknowingly we’ve learned how to utter white lies until we discover white lies can be a way to get through things and ways.  But are lies and white lies are something bad for us?  We’re not children anymore and we’ve certainly grown a lot to know the difference but why do we still continue to sometimes (or oftentimes) utter white lies though its now our turn to teach the young ones not to lie or even utter white lie s.  How can we now serve and be an effective role model to others especially to children if we’re now masters of ‘true lies.’ We knew that lies are lies no matter how you address or figuratively call them. Lies can hurt other peoples feelings and made them feel bad.  It can deceive and abuse people just to gain some kind of personal glorification and justification. And finally, lies no matter how we call them are definitely wrong. A person who uses white lies to abuse other people are just like Judas kissing an innocent Jesus for another favor.  A traitor and worse than the lowest form of any being… a worthless scum and parasite who live and depend on other being just to survive.  a real pitiful and worthless being.

The rainbow of hope over Tacloban-Philippines

Image

God listens.  God replied..

God has really plans all along.  When I wrote my article last Nov. 9 (please see here >https://yellowchevy1.wordpress.com/2013/11/09/theres-a-rainbow-after-the-storm/),  I was thinking of giving at least a piece of motivation for the Filipino readers of this page.  And although rainbows do happen after a storm, I was never this ecstatic seeing the rainbow  over the ravaged town of Tacloban, Philippines for which the background statue of the Lord Jesus Christ can be seen.  I may sound ominuous but to me it is not only my hope that was relived but most all LIVES of the thousands devastated by this calamity.  I can only thank the Almighty for its beauty and all the blessings it will bring.  Thank you my Lord!

make happiness a habit…

Happiness is a way of travel not a destination.’ – Roy M. Goodman

Image

People always seek things in pursuit of happiness.

We need not make happiness the ultimate goal when we can be happy as   we fulfil our goals.  It is not because of happiness that one should do the act of kindness.

It should rather be that we are happy doing the act of kindness.  And although happiness is relative in everything and anything that we do or have.   The purity and profoundness of our intention must be achieved.

Be happy doing the act of kindness for no matter how small it maybe it will never, never be wasted.

Bayanihan

bayanihan-spirit

Bayanihan.

Bayanihan is a Filipino culture which means ‘United and helping one another through communal work.’  Now that the Philippines is rebuilding and getting back and standing back again to where their lives should be.  It is happy to note that the Philippines’ age-old culture of Bayanihan is in high spirits again. Even in places that were not directly hit by the typhoon and elsewhere all over the world.  Filipinos are being bonded almost instantly to unite and help fellow Filipinos that were ravaged by the typhoon.  And although the grief, the sadness, the blank faces may initially crawl within, it will never wipe away a cultural value that was instilled in every Filipino.  It was a value taught from their ancestry, their family, their community, early childhood value learnings and as part of the religious values no matter which religious denomination Filipinos has adopted over the years.  Bayanihan is a value that made every Filipino distinct from the rest of other cultures.  Even for those Filipinos living outside the Philippines.  They may adopt the culture of the host countries  they maybe living with now.  But once a kababayan (fellow Filipino)need help,  the Bayanihan spirit always thrive in.  That maybe the reason why Filipinos outside the Philippines grew in solid clusters and enclaves.

And now, many kababayans are in dire need of help.  It is overwhelming to note that this cultural value is very much active bringing new hope for the devastated  people of central Philippines that was battered by the recent typhoon.  Let us again build homes.  Let us again build lives.  Let us again build the Philippines!

There’s a rainbow after the storm.

Image

God created the world round.  So that after the storm, people need to stand up and feel everyone is still on top of the world!”  –  YellowChevy

It is said that said that once you see a rainbow after the rains that means hope.  That means the storm has passed and we we’re spared from its wrath.  It means God has given us the sign that life has to continue and we need to live life anew.

In the Philippines, typhoons and storms are practically part of the people’s everyday lives.  They come, go and  sometimes returned and go again.  Just like how a boomerang bounces back.  Sometimes they come in pairs and at times so intense and violent.  If one will try to look at the satellite map of the typhoons passing over the Philippine archipelago, the typhoons look like swirls and swirls of creamer over one’s coffee cup.  If one is over the eye of a storm or typhoon,   It’s like a whole wide roll of events happening right at your very eyes:  floods, boats sinking, trees being uprooted by the strong winds, parts of houses and things are everywhere including people.  It’s like the whole world has turned upside down.  As always, the Philippines and the Filipino people though severed by storms and typhoons, survived after the passing of each typhoon and stormy weather.

Somehow the storms and typhoons, after it passes on things weakens and continue its journey until suddenly it stops and a beautiful kaleidoscope of colors emerge – the rainbow.  Just like how storms and typhoon passes and the rainbows colors its beautiful hues unto the skiesPeople should also stand and continue for the beauty that comes on the colors of the rainbow signifies hope.   It could also  mean  new beginnings and a better being for people who have experienced it.  It probably is the reason why God created the world round.  So that after the storm, people need to stand up and feel everyone is still on top of the worldEnjoying the sight of the rainbow.  Hopeful for what comes afterContinue the life that God had planned for all here in this worldSharing the lessons in life, continue to do well.  Continue each act of kindness and be an inspiration to each other.

THE AFTERMATH: On the Strongest Typhoon  That Struck The Philippines(Nov. 8-9,2013)

Making the above article to inspire particularly the people who has been reading my blog and who are like me have experienced the devastation of typhoons and storms that has raged over  the Philippine archipelago over the past years.  Again, The Nov. 8 to 9, 2013 Super Typhoon Haiyan whose local name was Yolanda created incomparable devastation.  The shoreline along the coast of central Philippines was left with destruction beyond compare.   Lost lives are everywhere and one couldn’t bear seeing the sight.  The above article was more of my personal account of how I experienced Philippine typhoons in my lifetime.   I’ve seen havoc and destructions I cannot literally describe and sadly, one such typhoon was the like that has just passed two days ago.

A sad event unfolded for the Philippines.  This blog’s purpose has to work somehow.  I implore and urge any donation especially food, clothing and medicines necessary for the victims of this natural calamity.  Below are authorized Philippine government agencies you can channel your kindness through:

Presidential Communications Operations Office (Office of the Philppine President)

Philippine National Red Cross

Phil. Dept. of Social Service  Attention Secretary Dinky Soliman

Phil. Dept. of Local Govt.  Attention to Secretary Mar Roxas
